GravityView for Gravityforms

If you’ve been part of our community for a while, you know how much we love Gravity Forms for form building and data collection in WordPress. It’s just a brilliant platform. I recently integrated Gravity Forms with Hubspot for a client and it works beautifully.

A key reason why I prefer Gravity Forms is that it’s actually saving the data locally. All of the integrations for Gravity Forms will then pass the data to the third-party system. This is a must for my clients… I don’t want data lost if a third-party API goes down or there’s some other kind of validation issue. Most of the simple contact forms on the market just don’t do that.

Additionally, with tools like ReCaptcha and Google Maps working out of the box, it’s just a solid system. I bought an unlimited site license years ago and have been using it for virtually every possible solution you could imagine.

How to Display Gravity Forms Data?

Gravity Forms is a brilliant tool for saving data… but what if you actually wish to display that data on your site? I’ve developed some online calculators for clients that did this, and it wasn’t a simple task. I also developed a workflow product that displayed data internal to the admin… it was quite the undertaking.

Well, welcome to GravityView! GravityView is a WordPress plugin that you can utilize to publish your Gravity Forms data. It’s fantastic – and it’s even gotten the blessing of Gravity Forms as a preferred solution.

Building an online directory just got simple! Build a form to capture information, then build out maps and directory lists that display the data… without writing a single line of code!

GravityView offers the ability to build unlimited views, approve and reject entries before they go live, and enables editing of those entries from the front-end. Combine WordPress, Gravity Forms, and Gravity View, and you’ve got a fully capable content management system that can collect and display data however you’d like.

Data can be viewed as lists, tables, data tables, or even in maps.

How does GravityView work?

  1. Create a form – First, create a form with Gravity Forms, the best forms plugin for WordPress. Add fields to the form and embed it on your website.
  2. Gather data – Then, fill out the form. Your data will be stored on the back end of your website, inside the Gravity Forms plugin.
  3. Design your layout – Create your perfect layout using a drag-and-drop interface. Choose which fields to include and where to display them. No coding required!
  4. Add it to your site
  5. Finally, embed and display your data on the front end of your website. You can view or edit entries without having to go through the WordPress menu.

It’s that easy!
